Mangos - A Very Versatile Fruit
Mangos are the world's most popular fruit and have become the darling of chef's across the United States. The mango tree grows in tropical climates but in the U.S. they are only able to grow in the southernmost portions of Florida and California. Fortuantely, mangos are cultivated all around the tropical regions of the globe so Americans can enjoy the delicious fruit year round. Mangos are a good source of Vitamins A & C, as well as a good source of Potassium and contain beta carotene. Mangos are high in fiber, but low in calories (approximately 110 per average sized mango), fat (only 1 gram) and sodium. For those of you who are working out or constantly on the go, mangos are also a great way to replenish that lost potassium. Deliciously rich in anti-oxidents, potassium and fiber - the mango is the perfect fruit! |

Pomp & Circumstance ~
A graduation is a celebratory event that brings the family together for one last important gathering before everyone scatters off in different directions to travel, begin a summer job, attend camp, relax. The ceremonies are filled with the pomp and circumstance of academic regalia, honorary degrees, achievement awards, and eloquent speeches that often address the philosophical questions of life's direction. They are occasions that are serious and joyous at once, as much about ending a phase in one's life as about commencing a new one. We feel a special dinner is in order to reward the efforts and accomplishments of the past and to say bon voyage for the journeys of the future. |
